Inspired by Monhegan Island’s fishing community and artistic tradition, I painted the rocks and sea in the open air there during the summers for 25 years. The challenge of painting a live, moving subject captured my imagination. Watercolor and Gouache on watercolor papers variable sizes. 1997-2022
